Matt J. Epstein, OD
The Dr. Epstein has been practicing optometry for 30 years. He is a native Delawarean -- a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and The University of Delaware. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Epstein is currently a member of The American Optometric Association and Delaware Optometric Association.
Dr. Epstein is a sports enthusiast, an avid golfer and a season ticket holder to the Eagles. He lives in Newark, Delaware, and enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 sons and his daughter in Bethany Beach. |
Anny Paek Kim, OD
Anny Paek Kim, OD, received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Kim graduated with clinical honors in low vision and pediatrics from The Eye Institute. She went on to pursue residency training in primary care at SUNY State College of Optometry with a variety of emphasis in ocular disease, contact lenses, and binocular disorders. Dr. Kim graduated cum laude from Brandeis University, receiving her bachelor of arts degree in both biology and psychology. Dr. Kim is board certified and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.

She is currently a member of The American Optometric Association and Delaware Optometric Association.
Linen J. Pok, OD
Dr. Linen J. Pok graduated from Boston College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Georgetown, University in 1997 with a Master of Science in Physiology, and The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2004 with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Upon graduation, she completed a residency in primary eye care and ocular disease management at the American Lake VA Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, which also included a rotation in low vision rehabilitation. She is also board certified. Dr. Pok is a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as the Delaware Optometric Association. |
Originally hailing form the island of Guam, she enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
Sam, Optician/Frame Specialist
Sam's smiling face is usually the first thing to greet you when you walk through the door at Epstein Eye. She enjoys interacting with our patients and assists with pretesting, dilating eyes, getting insurance authorizations, appointment scheduling... the list goes on!

Tanesha, Pre-Test Technician
Tanesha is our pre-test technician. Her calm and friendly smile put patients at ease as she does the preliminary testing to assist the doctors with their exams. Tanesha assists in the contact lens department as well. She genuinely enjoys interacting with our patients and is always looking for ways to assist patients with their eyecare needs.

Amy, Front Desk Receptionist
Amy's extensive optical knowledge, friendly demeanor and efficiency make her a great front desk receptionist. She nagivates patients to where they need to be, answers phones, prepare charts, schedules patients, obtains insurance eligibility information. etc., etc., etc.

Alasia, Optician
Although she is the newest member of our staff, Alasia has extensive experience in the eyecare field. She is a pro at helping our patients find the perfect pair of eyewear, from choosing frames to recommending the best lenses to fit your vision needs. Alasia's expertise is evident as she ensures that every pair of glasses are adjusted perfectly. She is a great asset to our staff and is always ready to assist our patients and share her optical knowledge.
